Write, record and mix, then stay over.
A purpose-built studio by Studio Builds on the East Sussex coast. The studio is based around a vintage Neve 5422 and PMC 6-2 monitoring. There is a beautiful Yamaha U1 upright and a collection of vintage and modern analogue synths and pedals.
There are two artist bedrooms on site, and more beds at the Airbnb next door.
After a session, unwind in the hot tub, fire up the Kamado BBQ, or settle into the whisky room by the log burner.

About
Whitfield Street, then nearly two decades at RAK.
I started out at Whitfield Street Studios before joining RAK, where I’ve been based for over 18 years. Along the way I’ve worked on platinum and award-winning records across many genres, most recently with Dinosaur Pile-Up, Myles Smith, Karen Dió, Kid Kapichi, Hot Wax, Deaf Havana, Hot Chip and Jess Glynne.
Today Hastings is home. I work with established artists and labels, and with the bands that make the south coast scene so good.
